Full Job Description

This is a great opportunity for staff who have some care experience out side of hospitals to transition and work within a hospital based maternity service. As a maternity support worker you will support and closely work with registered midwives to deliver a high standard of care to women in a caring and safe environment. You will work as part of the wider team in developing and maintaining services provided to women and contribute to the safe, efficient and smooth running of the ward/clinical area. Maintaining their dignity and privacy of all women and respecting their right to confidentiality is paramount. If this suits you and want to develop your skills in a maternity setting, then the is role is for you.
We will provide training and support to obtain your Care Certificate (nationally recognised) and offer opportunities to work in different settings. This is a great opportunity to gain new skills, experience and knowledge for those who may wish to pursue a future career in midwifery or any other healthcare profession., The successful post holders will be expected to provide support and assistance to professionals in the implementation of care plans for individual patients.
As a Clinical Support Worker, you will ensure patients receive a high quality of clinical care and a good patient experience. We have a management team that is both innovative and proactive in ensuring that high quality care is delivered to our patients.
Care Certificate Programme to be completed over a specified 6 months period, if not obtained prior to commencement.
