Full Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified GP under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). This is a fixed-term position, initially running until the end of March, offering you a fantastic development opportunity in a supportive environment. We are keen to help you further develop your clinical expertise as you transition into practice as a GP. If you are interested in this role, we are flexible with the number of sessions we offer to suit your needs., This role is an opportunity to develop your clinical expertise as you transition into practice as a GP. The post holder will provide a range of general medical services to support in a primary care setting, in line with the GPS Healthcare values of providing safe and effective care for all registered and temporary patients. You will be supported in this role by:

  • Having a reduced clinical rota
  • Reduced clinical administration generated by your own clinical work
  • Being supported from the GP PSU Team in the development of your role
  • Having access to the education programme run by GPS Healthcare
  • Having flexibility in how your sessions work

    GPS Healthcare is a modern, dynamic, innovative, successful, training practice based in Solihull, West Midlands. We are an at-scale provider practice across 6 sites, working as a single practice and partnership.
  • We are able to offer for newly qualified GPs that have not previously held a GP role, with the exception of locum work. GPs an interesting and varied career in General Practice and place an emphasis on professional career development whilst appreciating the need for a good work-life balance and work stability.
