We are now welcoming applications from student nurses in their 3rd year of training within 6 months of qualifying. Starting your career as a Registered Nurse with our Trust means developing your skills as a professional nurse in a friendly and forward-thinking environment. Successful candidates will be enrolled into our Newly Qualified Nurse structured 18 months Preceptorship Program, with regular study days, mentoring, and support in practice. We will offer:

  • Main duties of the job Adult Mental Health There are opportunities within Adult Mental Health, which include our 4 acute inpatient wards based at both Cross Lane Hospital in Scarborough and Foss Park Hospital in York, which provide inpatient rehabilitation at The Orchard. Children's and Young People Service In our children and young people services, you will work with a range of children and young people up to 18 years of age. Cocreation is at the heart of everything we do and is a real opportunity to change the trajectory of the journey the young people. Mental Health Services for Older People One of the most rewarding aspects of working in older person's services is the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives. Our older person's care encompasses a holistic approach to well-being. Adult Learning Disabilities We have four community Teams based in York, Harrogate, Northallerton and Scarborough providing support to service users, carers and their families locally. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals with learning disabilities, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. You will build meaningful relationships with clients and their families, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered care.
