Full Job Description

Worcestershire Children First is looking to welcome Newly Qualified Social Workers! We have two upcoming vacancies in the Long-term linked POD where children who live in settled care arrangements are supported. The wider team is made up of an Advanced Social Work Practitioner (ASWP) who will work with the newly qualified social Worker and a Family Support worker. After successful completion the your first year in Social Work practice you will be supported to transition to another Social Work team, at which point your preferences will be sought.   • A designated Advanced Social Work Practitioner who will co-work cases with you as well as give individual reflective supervision sessions.
  • Protected development time - 10% of your week is given over to protected development time, as well as half day learning sessions..
