Full Job Description

This full time Specialty Doctor in Community Paediatrics post will be supervised in contributing to the work of the Community Paediatric department through Community Paediatric outpatient clinics at the City of Coventry Health Centre., The postholder will be full time (10PA) based at the City of Coventry Health Centre with occasional clinical duties in other settings such as special schools. The post will have 9 sessions of direct clinical care including clinical admin and 1 SPA session. The postholder will contribute to the clinical work of the department through delivery of generic clinics, a melatonin clinic, contribution to the child protection rota and delivery of initial health assessments. All clinical activity will be supported by consultant supervision. A specific timetable and job plan will be agreed with the postholder dependent on interest and skills. There is scope for the postholder to participate in other special interest clinics within the department.
