4 nights per week on a rolling rota, including some weekend working, Join our compassionate and dedicated team at Oak Springs Care Home in Wavertree, a luxurious, purpose-built residential care home. At Oak Springs, we deliver high-quality care, including residential, respite, and dementia support for older people, ensuring the comfort and well-being of all our residents. Our stunning 74-bed home is designed across three floors, featuring state-of-the-art amenities such as music rooms, a beauty salon, cozy lounges, and peaceful courtyard spaces. We are committed to creating a vibrant and inclusive community where residents thrive, celebrating individuality and enhancing their quality of life. What does a Night Care Assistant role involve? As a Night Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and comfortable during the quieter hours of the night. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting residents with personal care, hygiene, and bedtime routines, always in a respectful and dignified manner. Providing companionship and reassurance to residents, particularly those who may need extra support during the night. Monitoring residents' needs and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the night. Carrying out light domestic duties to keep the home tidy and welcoming. Supporting the administration of care plans and reporting any changes or concerns regarding residents' well-being. Participating in training to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's knowledge and expertise. Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth transitions and the delivery of person-centred care.

To thrive in the Night Care Assistant role, you should possess: A compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine desire to care for others. An interest in health and social care - previous experience is welcomed, but not essential, as full training will be provided. Reliability and flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends, as part of a supportive and collaborative team. Strong observational skills and the ability to stay calm and confident in various situations.   • Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our 'Reward Me' app. Flexible pay is available via 'WAGESTREAM'.
