Night Hygiene Manager

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the Nights Hygiene team of over 44 staff (2 FLM's and 5 Team leaders as direct reports). You'll therefore taking full accountability for managing all aspects of performance including Hygiene and Technical KPI's, conduct, attendance etc. As Hygiene Manager you will actively encourage individuals and teams to challenge and improve good hygiene and manufacturing practices and processes to meet the expected standards and targets, while ensuring compliance to health and safety policies and procedures. Your time will be split between monitoring the performance of the team as well as ensuring appropriate paperwork is completed and available to relevant personnel. With others you will develop and implement a robust cleaning schedule for the production and ancillary areas of the factory. • Experience of fronting hygiene audits and customer visits
• Experience working with Holchem or other chemical suppliers
• Ideally management experience
• Preferably a good working knowledge of BRC standard
• As a minimum, must have Food Safety Level 3
• Must have a flexible approach to work
