Full Job Description

The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are seeking a Night Public Area Attendant that will report to the Night Public Area Supervisor within our Housekeeping department. This position is responsible for the cleanliness with aesthetic upkeep of all the public areas and back areas, (hotel and residential) and ensures the comfort of our guests within these spaces. The Peninsula London offers a high level of service within a luxurious and elegant setting that is appreciated more with the contribution of this position, ensuring the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness throughout.,

  • Report directly to the public area supervisor-coordinator and is responsible for the cleanliness of all public areas, guest toilets, public area pantries, colleague toilets, and storage rooms. Must ensure the comfort of all Hotel guests and staff as established by hotel procedures and standards.
  • Provide accurate handover regarding task sheet to supervisor before breaking off for the day. Must comply with daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules in all public areas during servicing each shift.
  • Assist in monthly inventory of chemicals, machines, cleaning supplies, and controls store of the department. Adheres to health, safety and hygiene policies.
  • This position requires the fulfilment of night shift duties based on the operational needs of the business. The ability and willingness to work during these hours is a necessary condition of employment.
  • The shift pattern will be 4 days on and 4 days off on rota for overnight shifts., Your daily health routine:

  • Previous experience within the luxury hotel with public area cleaning required for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Passion and appreciation of quality luxury hotel service with exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
  • Flexibility and capability of working under pressure.
