First impressions matter. As a Receptionist you play a pivotal role in setting the tone for every interaction. You are the first face and first conversation visitors to Farmfield in Charlwood will experience. Your warm and friendly personality will shine through as you greet and assist staff, visitors and service users. What you will be doing In this exciting role at Farmfield, a service for adult men 18+ with a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and behaviours that challenge each day brings different challenges and experiences. Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You'll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges. You will be working 40.25 hours per week Hours 18.30-07.00 - Monday to Sunday on 3 shifts one week 4 shifts following week There's also a huge range of courses on offer to help grow and develop your career.   • Welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner and ensuring the sign the visitor book.
  • Maintaining the upkeep of the reception area & meeting rooms are presentable.
  • Managing the office diary for meetings, events, training days and therapy sessions.
  • Ensuring confidentially and security to the service.
  • Receiving and dealing with telephone calls, emails and post.
  • Ad hoc administration tasks.
  • Ensuring all appropriate leaflets and brochures are on display.
  • Managing deliveries, You will be working at Farmfield Hospital, which is a large purpose-built medium-secure service with good facilities. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will provide care and support for adult men 18+ with a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and behaviours that challenge.

    Previous experience
  • Computer skills
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be professional, confident and diplomatic
  • GCSE English Language Grade C or above
  • Be efficient and enthusiastic
  • Awareness of understanding confidentiality and security
  • Ability work alongside a team and independently
  • Must be welcoming and self-motivated
