Full Job Description

  • To efficiently manage the day to day running of the Warehouse shift team members in the processing of all customer orders using the Voice Recognition System.


  • Health & Safety - Ensure we keep our employees and visitors safe by providing suitable trained out SSW's and procedures.


  • Ensure that a shift hand over is carried out on a daily basis with other Operational Leaders and Co-Ordinators.


  • Effectively communicate on a daily basis operational requirements to all team members through Shift Start Up meetings.


  • Support the achievement and continuous improvement of OTIF to target 92.5% and reduce RMA's.


  • To follow the relevant processes to support the department KPI's and objectives.


  • Support the Inventory team on the processing, locating and supply of material and products.


  • To liaise with the business section Co-Ordinators on daily requirements.


  • Monitor team performance and act upon all issues and document in a timely manner and in line with continuous improvement.


  • To provide a development and training plan for all members of the team through the PDR process, ensuring regular reviews are conducted.

  • Motivate and develop personnel in order to maximise their potential and ensure that departmental and company goals are understood and met.

  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping within all warehouse areas.

  • Ensure all incidents and accidents are reported, recorded and Investigated using the appropriate processes, documents and Alcumus.

  • Complete all issued Level Two Audits by the set completion date.

  • Complete IOSH - Managing Safety programme.

  • Help and Support a culture of Continuous Improvement throughout the operation.

  • Personally Demonstrate, Promote and encourage the Company Values.

  • Assist, support and encourage company and departmental initiatives.

  • Successful completion of appropriate and agreed learning and development e.g. LMS ,training courses or qualifications etc. as set out in PDR"

    + At least two key attributes of Humble, Hungry and (people) Smart must clearly demonstrated.

  • + A willingness and desire to develop the above
    + Ability to lead and focus a team in order to realise objectives
    + Ability to monitor performance of individuals and processes and take appropriate action to maximise outputs
    + Ability to analyse processes, find and implement improvements including the design and documentation of new systems as well as training of operatives in new working methods
    + Computer literate - knowledge of Excel and Word essential
    + Good communication skills
    + Time management skills
    + Understanding of all logistics processes and procedures
    + knowledge of WH module within IFS
    + Experience in the use of all MHE equipment.
    Shift Pattern
    Permanent nights: 9.30pm - 6am
