Kisimul Ofsted Report August 2021 As a Night Team Leader you will be an integral part of the family at Hawthorn House, no two shifts are the same but here is a brief overview of what your duties may look like:
- Working with all levels of the Staff Team to safeguard our young people at all time. Assisting the Registered Manager to utilise staff to ensure that shifts run smoothly and with appropriate numbers.
- Oversee medication administration in line with Individual Pupil Care Plan (IPCP) Maintaining clear and accurate records including leading on care planning and producing reports as required.
- Chairing regular staff meetings and handover meetings and ensuring that all relevant information is disseminated appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Working with the Training Department to promote the importance of training and support individuals to complete relevant qualifications through regular supervisions.
- Creating positive relationships with the young people and offering them unconditional dignity and respect.
- Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young people. Ensuring that the needs of the young person are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs. A Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care - Leadership experience, preferably within Children's Services.
- A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
