Full Job Description

Warwick Medical School seeks to appoint an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology or Public Health, based at the University of Warwick. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual wishing to excel in both their clinical and academic training, with the ambition to join the next generation of leading clinical academics., The ACL will have regular supervision meetings with their clinical academic supervisor. They will establish an independent research portfolio, by applying successfully for external grants, publishing in peer review journals and disseminating results at national and international conferences.

In addition, the ACL will work collaboratively with colleagues to build a strong research portfolio in WMS, UHCW and the wider University. They will be expected to be actively involved in the postgraduate teaching programme and contribute to the supervision of Academic Clinical Fellows and PhD students; providing academic mentoring and advice for colleagues working in the NHS and/or in public health.
