As a senior leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our services, driving strategic initiatives, and maintaining excellence in patient care. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in senior management, particularly those who have successfully implemented and led transformative changes in a supportive and collaborative manner. Your ability to work in partnership with Clinical Directors and senior nursing colleagues will be key to our success. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to your services, including operational activity and performance, workforce planning, contract management, finance, governance, and risk management.   • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the Obstetrics, Maternity & Neonates operational team, ensuring high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Strategic Development: Drive strategic initiatives in alignment with the division's objectives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Clinical Directors and senior nursing colleagues to implement changes and enhancements that improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee all operational activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and CQC requirements while managing performance metrics effectively.
  • Workforce Planning: Develop and implement workforce plans to ensure appropriate staffing levels, skill mix, and ongoing staff development to meet service demands.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, contracts, and financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies and ensuring the sustainability of services.
  • Governance and Risk Management: Maintain effective governance frameworks, manage risks, and ensure robust reporting mechanisms are in place for all services within the portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for all matters related to your portfolio, fostering relationships with key stakeholders to enhance service delivery and patient experience.
