Full Job Description

The role of the Non-Executive Director will be to ensure the Board fulfils its responsibilities and role and acts in accordance with its Constitution.

In addition, they will support the CEO to deliver LCW's Strategy and Annual Integrated Business Plan and optimise the relationship between the Board and staff and with the CEO to promote the organisation, protecting its brand, and representing the organisation effectively to external stakeholders.

London Central and West (LCW) was founded in 1994 as a local GP cooperative and has evolved into a large and successful provider of Integrated Urgent Care services covering a resident population of over 4.6 million. Our portfolio of services include Clinical Assessment Services to patients of North Central and North West London, Urgent treatment centres at Charing Cross, Hammersmith, West Middlesex and St Mary's hospital and a GP practice at Hammersmith and Fulham Centres for Health.

The role requires attendance at board meetings, committee meetings and annual general meetings. This is not an employed position but is a fixed-term engagement for 3 years. The remuneration is £13,000 per annum plus additional payment for agreed committee roles.
