Non-Medical Prescriber

As a One Recovery Bucks NMP, you'll be an essential part of our holistic care approach, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Reporting to the Clinical Lead for Buckinghamshire, you'll contribute expertise in prescribing and high-quality care. We prioritise staff growth, offering ongoing training and tailored professional development. This will support your professional advancement while delivering meaningful support to our service users.,

• Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, recovery workers, managers, and allied health colleagues to ensure a multidisciplinary approach and facilitate safe and positive outcomes for service users.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users to determine appropriate treatment plans, including prescribing for opioid use disorder and alcohol detoxification and relapse prevention.
• Prescribe and review medications prescribed by the service following best practice guidelines.
• Offer health and wellbeing interventions, providing guidance and support tailored to individual needs.
• Facilitate BBV screening and vaccinations, contributing to the overall health improvement of service users and communities.
• Contribute to the review of serious incident investigations, providing expertise and insights to enhance learning and improve practice.
