  • Undertake Clinical Nursing Practice at an advanced level using expert knowledge and clinical skills
  • Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues
  • Provide treatment as required, including prescribing medication, within their sphere of competence
  • To carry out comprehensive assessments of patients looked after

    Registered professional with current active registration (NMC, GPHC, HCPC)
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Non-Medical Prescriber to join our Primary Care team at HMP Thorn Cross, a Category D prison based in Warrington. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality. This post is one day a week at HMP YOI Thorn Cross and HMP Risley Hours- 7.5 hours each day., The Health in Justice team at Practice Plus Group makes a real difference across over 53 prisons, young offenders and immigration removal centres.     This position is a full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £54,332 per annum - depending on experience.
