Non Nurse Deputy Manager

Roche Home Care are looking to recruit a Deputy Manager for Wharfedale View Extra Care facility in Yeadon, Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own
As A Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home and will lead the home in their absence.
· Working in partnership with both Local authority and regulators
· Providing information, advice and support to residents, families and staff and external agencies i.e. GP's and District nurses
· Promote residents' rights and duties and encourage them to join activities
· Help residents to access local services and take part in the local community
· Monitor business performance and quality of care
· Ensure that all staff are aware of the most current policies and practices.
· Recruit, train and supervise staff
· Provide support and professional supervision to care staff
· Ensure effective communication with relatives and other healthcare professionals i.e. GPs and district nurses.
· Ensure confidentiality at all times regarding all aspects of care and management of the home

Salary: from £27,664 to £29,120
Hours: 40hrs per week, flexibility required, including weekends, provide on call support
Must be car driver & owner
NVQ level 4/5 is required with previous management experience and Domiciliary experience
