Hold a caseload that includes a mix of Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases.
Work to the duty rota, handling incoming assessments and responding to urgent safeguarding concerns.
Conduct timely assessments of children and families, ensuring that appropriate services and interventions are implemented.
Collaborate with multi-agency professionals to provide coordinated support for children and families.

Nottingham City Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join the Duty and Assessment Service, Qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
Experience in working with Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases.
Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures, legislation, and statutory responsibilities.
Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload while working within a duty rota system.
Excellent communication and assessment skills, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for children.

Pay Rate: £36.58 per hour (umbrella), depending on experience.
