Full Job Description

  • Represent the council in court proceedings, providing expert testimony and supporting documentation as required.

  • Manage a diverse caseload, including complex cases, ensuring that all legal and procedural requirements are met.

  • Work collaboratively with other team members, including legal professionals, to ensure positive outcomes for children and families.

  • Conduct assessments and prepare detailed reports for court proceedings.

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with families, caregivers, and external agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

    Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Social Worker to join their dynamic Court Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact in a challenging yet rewarding environment., A recognized social work qualification and current registration with Social Work England.

  • Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within a court team or child protection environment.

  • Excellent understanding of child protection legislation and court procedures.

    Pay Rate: Up to £42 per hour (umbrella), depending on experience.
