Full Job Description

  • To manage the delivery of contractual obligations and Business Plan Commitments including supporting internal stakeholders with evidence submissions

  • Monitor and control NRC compliance including proactive risk management and regular reporting

  • To manage the process to attain Department for Transport decisions, guidance and consents as required by the National Rail Contract or other business objectives

  • To act as a business partner to internal stakeholders for contractual compliance, including proactive communications and ad hoc queries.


    • DfT Relationship
  • Day-to-day point of contact for the tactical management of the relationship between the CrossCountry business and Department for Transport (DfT)

  • Organisation and co-ordination of joint working meetings, including compiling agendas, confirming locations and management of risks, issues, actions and decisions as appropriate.


    • Policy Monitoring
  • To monitor governmental policy, including providing regular reporting relating to changes to government policy and/or legislation

  • To regularly produce and distribute management information in relation to government policy
