Full Job Description

At Babcock we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Nuclear Performance Management Specialist at our Devonport Royal Dockyard site., As a Nuclear Performance Management Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll improve safety performance across the site to the benefit of the workforce and general public. Day-to-day, you'll assist in the development of a Nuclear Performance Management (NPM) work plan against clearly defined performance objectives

  • To support and guide NPM in the management of corrective action programme behaviours
  • To drive compliance, action completion and trending relating to 'nuclear safety' performance whilst ensuring effective close out of initiatives - full and effective implementation
  • To prompt and coach the management team in the management of the corrective actions
  • This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.

    Essential experience of the Nuclear Performance Management Specialist
  • Previous experience in delivering change processes across an organisation
  • Previous experience within a nuclear background would be advantageous
  • Experience working across the dockyard - Desirable
  • Knowledge of Synergy - Desirable
  • Qualifications for the Nuclear Performance Management Specialist Relevant engineering degree, recognised professional status or significant experience in relevant engineering discipline and NVQ Level 4 Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
