Nurse – Full Time

We are pleased to be able to offer an exciting opportunity for a Nurse to join our team. Ahead of the retirement later this year of a long-term member of our team, we are looking for a Practice Nurse to join us to provide safe and effective Nursing care to the Practcie population at our sites in Poringland and Rockland St Mary.

This could be a role for an existing Practice Nurse who is looking for a change in their working environment or has a change in their circumstances personally, or a Registered Nurse considering moving into General Practice to widen their skill set. We would work with the latter in the creation of a learning and development plan to include the core skills required for Practice Nursing.

We take great pride in the care we offer patients ensuring the appropriate care, in the appropriate setting, at the appropriate time by the appropriate healthcare professional.

Practice Nurses are key in the management of patients with long term conditions and health promotion and will work both as part of a team and autonomously.

Our Practice team work well together, and a recent staff survey reported they are proud to work at the Practice and enjoy working here. We hope the successful candidate will too!
