If your answers are YES, then our Patient Safety Team at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary is the place for you.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Associate to join the Patient Safety Team either as part of a secondment or on a fixed term basis. The role is offered on a fixed term basis for 18 months at 18.75 hours per week.

You will be working alongside a registered nurse but managing your own patients. Administrating medications and providing patient centred care.

The role will include involvement in audit and delivering teaching both formally and informally., The role of the Nursing Associate Acute Kidney Injury is to work with the multi professional team and the Registered Nurses contributing to the ongoing assessment, providing and monitoring care in line with the service pathways and as agreed with supervising clinician(s). They will monitor the condition and health needs of people with renal disease specifically Acute Kidney Injury within their care on a continual basis in partnership with the multi-professional team.
