An exciting opportunity has arisen at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly dynamic qualified Nursing Associate to join the Outpatient Department., The post holder is responsible for the implementation of care needs and the implementation of programmes of care.

The outpatients staff work collaboratively with wider multi disciplinary teams to deliver outstanding care to our patients and their families, therefore experience of working collaboratively in a team within a healthcare environment is essential for this post. Outpatients is often the first impression of our hospital and therefore excellent communication skills are also required for this position to ensure patients and their families / carers are welcomed and reassured.

Experience of working with children or in an Outpatient setting is desirable, but not essential and applicants must be keen to expand their skills and willing to undertake paediatric phlebotomy. The successful applicant will be given full training and mentoring within the department.
