Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the growing Gynaecology department at Epsom and St Helier. We are seeking an experienced Nurse Colposcopist to join our team, working across the St Helier and Leatherhead gynaecology outpatient clinics. As the colposcopy service expands to accommodate the increasing needs of the local population, the postholder will collaborate with the current Nurse Colposcopist and the broader multidisciplinary team to deliver a responsive and compassionate service that adheres to both National and local guidelines and key performance indicators.,

  • To maintain a cost-effective service aligned with the objectives of the department and care group.
  • To manage a patient caseload within Women's Services, ensuring high-quality care.
  • To ensure that patients and their families are fully informed and supported, providing both clinical and social care.
  • To contribute to the development of evidence-based clinical nursing practices in accordance with current research and guidelines.
  • To collaborate closely with medical and nursing staff, the management team, patient pathway coordinators, administrators, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure the seamless delivery of care.
