The Endoscopist will assist in providing a seamless service carrying out routine investigations and appropriate therapeutic procedures as laid down by agreed protocols, liaising with all members of the multi-disciplinary team as appropriate., Applications will be transferred to TRAC system, by completing an application your are giving authorisation for the transfer of your data.

Including factual reference, occupational health clearance and statutory and mandatory training record.
If you need to have a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check, as a requirement of the role, you will be required to repay the cost of obtaining a DBS check (£50) and this amount will be reclaimed from your first salary. From 1st February 2019 all new starters to the Trust are required to join the DBS update service as per Trust DBS Re-checking Policy which has an annual cost of £13. New employees who do not join the update service will be required to pay £50 for a new DBS check in 3 years time.
Please note that news starters with KGH are subject to a six month probationary period.

We are looking for a motivated enthusiastic team player with a can do attitude, and a drive to provide the highest standard of care to our patients. You will be working within a friendly innovative driven team that puts the patient at the heart of everything we do. You will need a bright disposition and a caring attitude. The Nurse Endoscopist will be an NMC Registered Nurse and will have undertaken a recognised training programme in order to attain the appropriate Non-Medical Endoscopist (or equivalent) qualification, or will be working towards such a qualification, or able to fully commit to such training in this role.
They will utilise specific skills in the area of GI Endoscopy and Bowel Screening, undertaking screening, health education, treatment evaluation and patient counselling related to GI disorders within Endoscopy.
