An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Gastroenterology Department for an Upper GI Nurse Endoscopist at Homerton Hospital. The Nurse Endoscopist plays an important role within the endoscopy department and will also cover the Upper GI straight-to-test role. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service and contributing to the development of theEndoscopy unit., As a Nurse Endoscopist, you will:

  • Play a vital role in ensuring outstanding care for both current and future patients
  • Help achieve national and local targets for waiting times.
  • Participate in enhancing the patient experience

  • There is an opportunity for a training post as a Band 6 and a Band 7 on completion ofcompetencies. However, you will need pasted experience in the specialty ofGastroenterology / Colorectal and be capable of making independent decisions.
