As a valued member of our team, you will be providing care to children and young people who have been diagnosed with life limiting illnesses, examples include cancer, cystic fibrosis, Batten Disease, Muscular Dystrophy and cerebral palsy. You will have the compassion and communication skills to put the needs of the child and their family at the heart of everything you do, so that we are able to provide the right care and support for them, when they need us most., Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of children and young people with life-limiting conditions and children's palliative care
Has excellent communication skills

Hope House Children's Hospices have an opportunity for a Temporary Nurse to join our team based in Conwy. You will join us on a full-time or part-time, temporary Maternity cover basis. In return, our Nurse will receive a competitive salary of:

Nurse £29,697 - £44,085 per annum, full time equivalent, (Dependant on experience)

Hope House Children's Hospices is a charity that gives every local child with life threatening condition and their family access to professional care and improves their quality of life from the point of diagnosis. About the Nurse role:

Hope House & Ty Gobaith Children's Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a registered Nurse (Children's Nurses or Adult Nurses (RN) with paediatric experience) to join our care team to provide excellent specialist palliative and end of life care to children and young people.

Whether you are an experienced nurse looking for a new challenge, or a newly qualified nurse with a passion for palliative care, we are committed to the development of our employees and will offer you a comprehensive training package. You will continue to develop your knowledge and clinical skills enabling you to deliver the highest standards of care which supports our values and ethos that no one should suffer the death of a child alone.
