Are you a Practitioner with a Level 6 qualification in Minor Illness and Injuries looking for a rewarding role? Do you want to utilise all the skills from your training in a rewarding environment? We are seeking Nursing / Paramedic's who are committed to working as part of our Urgent Care Team to deliver an excellent and caring service to our patients. We have a multidisciplinary workforce which consists primarily of Advanced Clinicians and Emergency Practitioners trained in both adult and paediatric disciplines whom are supported by GPs. As we are a 7 day service we are looking for Nurse or Paramedic Practitioners who can work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends and our shifts range from hours hours and as we understand the need for flexible working so we are offering a bank contract to work around your current commitments.
- Experience as an Emergency Nurse / Paramedic Practitioner or relevant specialist assessment practitioner skills
- Qualified to level 6 or above in minor injuries and or illness
- A passion for delivering high quality patient care
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care
- A commitment to continual personal and professional development
The main patient groups are patients with minor injury and minor illness. Patients who present to the Urgent Treatment Centre are managed by our expert team of Practitioners / Clinicians with an undifferentiated diagnosis through a process of assessment, formulation of a clinical management plan and subsequently discharge or transfer for definitive care.
