Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our regional Trauma and Neuro Rehabilitation Unit (L1). L1 is a part of the Greater Manchester major trauma collaborative and specialising in Neuroscience, the ward provides 10 neuro in-patient beds and 12 trauma beds. L1 provides a service for neurological patients from Salford, Trafford and specialist Neuroscience services for patients from the Greater Manchester. We aim to provide the most effective service for patients requiring neuro-trauma rehabilitation following neurosurgery and acute neurological illnesses. As a team we deliver a holistic, friendly, open, patient centred environment and abide by the trust values. We have excellent relations with members of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), which include neuro psychologists, specialist nurses, chaplains, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, SALT, dieticians, social workers and the medical and surgical teams. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated adult nurse with a passion for delivering high standards of care.,

The Unit receives patients from throughout the Greater Manchester region, accepting transfers in and out and therefore excellent communication skills are essential., NMC Registration
