Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join the Children's Haematology/Oncology HSCT and Apheresis Service. This exciting service is complex and quickly evolving. It supports patients requiring allogeneic and autologous transplants, as well as CAR-T therapy for haematology and oncology conditions. Along side this, the team conduct associated apheresis procedures such as Extra-Corporeal Photopheresis, Stem Cell Harvests and Red Blood Cell Exchange.

Please expand the job details section and read all of the information before applying for the vacancy, As a Nurse Specialist you would be responsible for patients pre and post transplant care. Managing and supporting the patient and families from their initial assessment right through to their discharge home

    Some experience and understanding of stem cell transplant would be desirable but is not essential . Full training and support would be provided
