Nursery Assistant

We are looking for a hard working and enthusiastic nursery assistant to join our team. This post is for some one looking to carry out a full time apprenticeship in a nursery setting. You will be required to

We will sign you up to Train towards your NVQ level 2 qualification in childcare.
you will have to maintain a safe secure environment for all of the children
Ensure that the emotional, social, intellectual and physical needs of the children are met.
Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered too at all times.
Adhere to all staff rotas and breaks including nappy changes, cleaning, laundry, garden and staff room duties.
To keep records of work, and plan and carry out observations
To be able to work towards and maintain all standards.
To follow the Early Years Foundation stage framework, being responsible for your key children's recording, development and planning.
To attend all staff meetings and training evenings.
Maintaining staff ratios
We will get you enrolled with a college to undertake an apprenticeship in childcare working towards your NVQ Level 2, the nursery will help to provide a college.

Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
Management: 1 year (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship working between the hours of 7.30am-5.30pm

Salary starting from: £7.00 per hour pay will be reviewed after 3 months.
