The school now has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our fantastic team on a part-time basis (Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm). About the role We are looking for a Nursery Assistant to assist in providing a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment for children. Also, to work within the standards and requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum in planning and assessment as well as helping children of all attainment levels achieve their full potential. Who we are looking for The successful candidate will have Grade A-C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) and a NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or equivalent. Further, it is essential you have prior experience of working with children, delivering phonics and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. In addition to your qualifications, you will be an enthusiastic and caring attitude with the ability to engage in a warm and supportive way with the children.
