Nursery Assistant

Then becoming a Nursery Assistant is the role for you!!, As a Nursery Assistant you will have recent experience of supporting young children between the ages of 6 months to 3 years. Your role as a Nursery Assistant is to ensure each child has a positive, enjoyable and creative experience whilst starting their learning journey.

• Experience working with child would be beneficial, although no qualifications are required
• Knowledge of EYFS is beneficial
• To support the Nursery team with the daily running of the Nursery
• Support the team with feeding, nap times and activity set up/clear away
• Promote positive behaviour
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to plan on the spot or adapt an activity when needed
• Support children on a 1-2-1 basis, small group or children with additional needs
• Flexibility and adaptability
