Full Job Description
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times
- Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff:child ratios
- Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent
- Observe and support children's development, update the EyLog system and children's learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt
- Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development

This role is working 36 hours per week, various shifts patterns over 4 days between the opening and closing times of the nursery 8:00am - 18:00pm. This nursery is open all year round and is not a term time only role. Salary raning from £8.60 - £11.44 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Within this role you will need to provide the highest standard of compliance, care and education for children, and effectively manage daily operations of the nursery, including positive partnerships with management, colleagues and parents., Family First benefits include annual leave starting at 24 days on top of a paid birthday day off and bank holidays.
