Nursery Cleaner

Happy Days Nursery Penrice, St Austell, are seeking a Nursery Cleaner, working 10 hours per week.

You will play an important role in maintaining our nursery to the very highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

A little bit about the role

• Working Monday to Friday - 10 hours per week (evenings)


• Work as a member of the nursery team, showing initiative and dedication ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the entire nursery.


• Be flexible and supportive to the nursery team working with all staff members in all areas of the nursery as required.


• To undertake cleaning duties to a high standard, as directed by the Nursery Manager, Our teams, whether in our nurseries or our support centre SHINE, they ensure we are delivering outstanding childcare to every child in our settings everyday, this helps to make Happy Days a great place to work. By ensuring we are always recruiting, retaining and promoting a diverse mix of colleagues, who are representative of the communities within which our nurseries sits gives us the best opportunity to continue to deliver outstanding childcare
  
  Previous cleaning experience is an advantage


• Strong awareness of Health & Safety and potential hazards.


• Good organisational skills, able to plan own work and resources accordingly.


• Strong team player with a 'can-do' attitude. Willingness to support colleagues and share information.


• Good, confident and honest communicator.


• Demonstrates strong initiative and ability to think on their feet.
