Full Job Description

Dean Close Little Trees Nursery St Arvans, Chepstow are looking to recruit a qualified cook to join our friendly team. You will either have experience of cooking for large groups of people or have gained a qualification in catering. Duties will include:

  • Organise, cook and prepare a healthy balanced snacks, midday hot lunch & afternoon tea for children aged 3 months -5 years
  • To hold a Food Hygiene Level 2
  • Ordering of all food provisions
  • Keep accurate records of supplies and order replacements as needed within the nursery budget requirements.
  • Keep the kitchen a clean and safe environment for the children in our care
  • To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and food hygiene
  • Take responsibility to make sure all allergen and dietary requirements are catered for and clearly communicated to teams.

    30 days annual leave in the first 2 years employment (inclusive of Bank Holidays), increasing to 33 days annual leave after 2 years service
