Little Nooriyah Nursery is looking for Nursery Deputy Manager to work within a newly established nursery based in Smethwick. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nursery deputy manager to lead an amazing team, you must have at least 2 years' management experience in an Early Years Setting.
The Job Role

  • Day to day management of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.

  • Build positive relationships with the children, parents, and colleagues.

  • Have the drive for personal development to learn new skills and training, and pass this down to the team to help them develop in their job role.

  • Promote the Nursery to new clients.

  • Deliver learning opportunities to the children to help them develop and grow their skills.

  • Ensure policies and procedures and always maintained.

  • Work with other professional to ensure each child's needs are met and they can reach their full potential.


  • Uphold the nurseries Safeguarding policies and procedures as well as confidence to train others through in-house training.,
  • Deputy manager must support the Nursery Manager in maintaining high standards in the childcare setting. Support and lead with training, mentoring and development of the staff.

    Nursery Management experience/ childcare lead minimum of 2 years

  • Paediatric First Aid

  • Up to date record of training and professional qualification

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships with parents/carers.

  • Set a positive example to the team in providing a high level of care and support to the children, while managing and leading the team.

  • Minimum of a level 3 in Early Years and Education

  • Positive, pro-active attitude, who is happy to go above and beyond for the children and families.
