Full Job Description

KiddyKare are seeking a motivated Deputy Manager to join a well-established and dynamic team in Brentford. The setting has an expansive garden and large, airy classrooms with high ceilings, creating a bright and open atmosphere that enhances the learning experience. The nursery has lots of extra curriculum activities such as Zumba, music and movement, cooking sessions and structured language classes. Working 40 hours per week with a salary of £30,600 gross PA Company benefits:

  • Role specification & description:
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery.
  • Lead and support the staff team, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, providing support and training to ensure high standards of care and
  • education.
  • Ensure that all children receive high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years
  • Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Assist in managing the nursery budget, ensuring that resources are used effectively and
  • efficiently.

    Essential:
  • Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of three years experience working in a childcare setting, with at least two in a
  • supervisory or leadership role.
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and relevant childcare
  • legislation. Desirable:
  • Level 5 or above in Leadership and Management in Early Years.
  • Experience in Ofsted inspections and achieving Good or Outstanding ratings.
  • First Aid and Safeguarding training.
