Nursery Manager - Full Time - Up to £35,000pa

Ridgemount Cottage Nursery is seeking a Manager whose passion for childcare is at the forefront of everything they do. You should be a hands-on, people's person, excited to roll up your sleeves and inspire good practice through modelling not meetings. You will be a vital part of a management partnership. While one manager organises our staff, you will be at the helm of what we do for our children and their families, such as inspiring high quality Teaching and Learning, supporting children with specific needs and monitoring family communication through our app., Duties include

• Promote and nurture high standards of practice and provision
• Oversee children's records, including on the Famly App
• Ensure smooth transitions for new-starters, room moves and school-starters
• Supervise child protection or safeguarding procedures
• Manage the day-to-day running of the nursery
  
  Level 3 Qualification in Early Years and Management Qualification
• Experience in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years
• Pro-active mentality
• Compassionate nature
• Proficient in IT, including using Excel
  
  Ridgemount Cottage Nursery is a family-run nursery at the heart of the Brockworth
community. Since opening our doors in 1994, we have continued to grow, becoming a large and popular setting, with lots of opportunities for learning and exploration.
