Full Job Description

The Pointer School is an Independent Christian Prep and pre-Prep school in Blackheath, Southeast London. We are seeking an inspirational, dedicated, and passionate teacher to join our thriving school as the teacher in our Nursery nurture class, a small group of 6-12 pupils who have just joined the school. The successful candidate will have a good degree and experience working in Primary schools, with expereience in the EYFS.

At Pointers we have a strong collegiate atmosphere and the successful teacher will become a key part of the continuation of this.

This position is from January 2025-July 2025, with the potential for the contract to be extended.

  • Salary: The Pointer School Pay Scale (£37k - 56k, depending upon experience).

All new staff will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance, identity checks, qualification checks and employment checks to include an exploration of any gaps within employment, two satisfactory references and registration with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
