Full Job Description
As a Nursery Officer, you will deliver high-quality childcare, ensuring that the welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage are consistently met. You'll work in partnership with your colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure that children reach their full potential. You will also work to support other staff and managers within the nursery.
- You will have, at least, a Level 2 Early Years Education and Childcare Qualification.
- You will have experience of working in a professional childcare setting.
- You will have the ability to form appropriate relationships with children and their families.
- You will understand the different needs of the community.
- You will be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.
- You will have knowledge of safeguarding, inspection and regulatory frameworks for childcare.
- You will be positive, resilient, flexible, and work well in our happy team.

Longsight Nursery gives children aged 0-4 the chance to learn through imagination, creativity and play in a safe, fun space. The nursery is in the same building as Longsight Community Primary School and Longsight Children's Centre. We come together to act as a Family Hub to provide seamless provision and support for all families in our community.
