Full Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development, patience, and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will contribute to creating a safe, secure, and stimulating environment, plan and implement age-appropriate activities, and build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. In this role, you will have the opportunity to observe and record children's progress, share information with parents and caregivers, and uphold health and safety standards. Additionally, your commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion will be crucial in ensuring the well-rounded development of the children under your care.,

  • Planning and implementing activities that promote the physical, social, and intellectual development of children
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for children
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Observing and recording children's progress and development
  • Collaborating with colleagues to provide a high standard of care and education
  • Supporting children with personal care routines and meal times
  • Adhering to safeguarding and health and safety guidelines

    Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Passion for working with young children and creating a positive learning environment
  • Up-to-date knowledge of child development and appropriate learning activities
