Full Job Description

Brimpton House Nursery are excited to be opening a new Younger Babies room at the nursery and are seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to come and join their team on a full time basis. This role is working 40 hours per week with a salary starting from £24,876 per annum. The room will take up to 5 children per day and follow the children's individual routines creating a home from home feel and cosy welcoming environment. You will work closely with our Older Baies room who have embeded a welcoming cosy environment to ensure smooth and positive transitions throughout the setting. Our nursery is open from 8:00am - 18:00pm and we would require you to be able to work varied shift patterns between those times.. Nursery Practitioner main duties and responsibilities

  • :
  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
  • Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote these daily in every routine.
  • Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
  • Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent
  • Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures.

    Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential
  • Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
  • Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years - desirable
  • Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
