Nursery Teaching Assistant - Part-time

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020 and therefore is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure. In line with KCSIE guidance, paragraph 220, all candidates who are shortlisted will be subject to an online search. Meopham Community Academy, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our talented and supportive team!

+ ideally has experience working with children with learning difficulties or delivering interventions
+ passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential
+ hold a TA qualification with GCSEs in English & Maths A-C or equivalent
+ committed to high expectations of children's learning and behaviour
+ excellent communication and personal skills and a flexible attitude.

This role is 19.5 hours per week, over 3 days, 8.30am to 3.30pm with a 30 minute break for 38 weeks per year, term time only. The full-time salary for this is role is currently paid at Kent Range 3, £23,337 (FTE), pro-rata to £10,399.78., + a trust benefits package; including 2 additional term-time days off as a wellbeing/birthday gift
