Nursery Team Leader

Nursery Team Leader for our new nursery in Crawley, RH11 7BP We are currently seeking people who are passionate about childcare to join our team of staff as a Nursery Team Leader. Our staff are essential to the smooth running of our nurseries and are valued members of the team; you will build relationships with children and parents and be involved fully in nursery life. Please be advised if you do not possess a full and relevant qualification or experience within the childcare sector your application will not be considered.,

• Ensuring that the EYFS is implemented and followed throughout the team to an exemplary standard.
• Providing day-to-day leadership and management for the team and staff across the nursery as required.
• Being involved in the recruitment of staff, including but not limited to, shortlisting, interviewing and observing safer recruitment practices.
• Assisting in the effective use of social media and other marketing activities as required.
• Fulfilling the role of key person to an exemplary standard, providing a positive role model for team members.
• Having lots of fun!
  
  Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
• To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
• A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
