The palliative care unit at North Tyneside General Hospital is looking for a full time healthcare assistant to join our lovely team.

The palliative care unit is a 19 bedded unit which care for patients with a palliative diagnosis and can include symptom control and end of life care.

A strong interest in this area is essential due to the nature of the unit

Our successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and part of a team.

good organisational skills are very important and having the ability to navigate our IT systems is essential due to the amount of technology all roles of staff are expected to use as part of their role.
