Since the 1st November 2021 a Recruitment & Retention premia has been introduced to attract and retain staff working within the Secure Care Division in High, Medium and Low Secure Services and further support our "Grow Our Own Strategy". For our nursing assistants this will be a premia of £600 for individuals allocated to our Low Secure wards at Hollins Park.

The division is responsible for specialised secure mental health and learning disability services, in low, medium and high secure settings for service users with a primary classification of mental illness, personality disorders, learning disabilities and autism.

Due to the role being advertised for those without previous care experience, training will be delivered alongside the role. These sessions are mandatory., 1. To carry out assigned duties, involving direct care and observation of service users under theguidance and indirect supervision of qualified staff.2. To report to the qualified staff any observations made whilst providing care to service usersactivities and leisure, providing details of mental state and risk factors.3. To work with service users on an individual and group basis as outlined in the care plan andas directed by the appropriate named lead professional.
