Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Community Mental Health Teams in Manchester. We are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse Associate/ Assistant Practitioner or Trainee Nursing Associate to work within the CMHTs, focusing on undertaking Physical Health Care assessments and monitoring physical health, alongside other service user and carer interventions.,
- Health Promotion
- Physical Health Improvement Tool
- Support with Clozapine, Mood stabiliser and Depot clinics if required
- Undertake Venepuncture as required within the PHIT Tool or directed by the senior nurse or medic.
- Undertake ECG as required within the PHIT Tool or directed by the senior nurse or medic.
- Supporting annual flu vaccination clinics if required
The successful applicant will have some experience of working with service users with mental health issues.The post holder alongside the physical health nurse will be able to hold physical health clinics and work as part of a busy multi-disciplinary team supporting service users address their physical and mental health needs.
