So if you want be a part of this, we would love to hear from you., We are looking for a bladder and bowel nurse associate, to work as a member of the bladder and bowel service, under the direction of the clinical team lead, providing effective holistic nursing care to patients in community settings including community clinics.
You will promote good bladder/bowel care and provide clinical assessment and treatment of patients with bladder and/or bowel dysfunction including catheterised patients.
To maintain core clinical skills in order to support community nursing with its care delivery.

+ Are you a registered nurse associate (NMC Level 5) looking for a new challenge? Or do you hold a foundation degree in health and social care?
+ Do you have experience of bladder and bowel care management?
+ Are you passionate about developing you nursing skills?

· Nursing Associate qualification
Care certificate
Experience
· Previous experience in health or social care setting
· Previous experience in health in a community setting
· Working in a team
· Able to work under own initiative
· Bladder and bowel care management
Special knowledge / expertise
· Standard IT skills including word processing and use of internet
· Knowledge of health and safety and principles of risk assessment.
· Be able to understand and plan a range of delegated clinical duties
· Analytical and judgmental skills
· Phlebotomy
· Wound care
· Pressure area care
· Catheter care
Continence or bladder/bowel Assessments
Disposition, adjustment, attitude and commitment
· Ability to work under pressure
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Attention to detail and presentation
· Flexibility and adaptability
· Motivated to community work
· Open and friendly
· Contributes to the team
Willingness to develop professionally
Practical / intellectual skills
· Standard IT skills.
· Ability to travel to various sites in a timely manner
